Luis Gorrochategui Santos graduated in philosophy from the University of Barcelona. He has combined his teaching work with research and has published, among many other works, Contra Armada. El viaje más épico de la Historia and numerous articles and collaborations. His latest work is The Caravel of San Lesmes.
