Adolfo Serra has been passionate about drawing since he was very young and he hasn’t stopped working ever since. His artwork stands out for its exquisite understanding of light and for its use of all kinds of colours. His illustrations have been exhibited in the most prestigious illustration fairs worldwide, including the Children’s Book Fair of Bologna, or the Biennale of Illustration of Bratislava. He has also illustrated both classic and contemporary books, and children’s literature, an occupation he holds in high regard. He has recently illustrated classics, including Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass, Little Red Riding Hood, Julio Llamazares’ Memory of the Snow, and Fernando Pessoa’s A Wrong Disguise.
